stag passes a night

A small, capped allocation. Everything else is couples and families.

Why This One

Bhopal has loud garba.
It doesn't have a good one.

We capped the floor at 500 because a garba night stops being fun the moment you can't lift your arms. Everything below follows from that one decision.

Only 500 a night

Room to actually play. No crush, no elbow-to-elbow floor, no queue for water. When the passes are gone, they are gone.

Live dhol and mandli

A real Gujarati mandli with live dhol and sehnai alongside the DJ — not a playlist on a laptop for four hours.

Home by eleven

Gates at 6, garba from 7, done by 10. Built around Bhopal's sound rules so families can come and still get home at a sane hour.

A couples-and-families floor

Most of the room is couples, families and mixed groups. Stag entry exists but is capped at 60 passes a night — with female security on the floor and a separate family lane at the gate.

The resort, not a ground

Poolside lawn, lake air, clean washrooms you would let your mother use, and gated parking inside the property.

Prizes worth dressing for

Best chaniya choli and best kediyu judged both nights, plus a garba face-off. Bring the outfit you have been saving.

How The Evening Runs

Come early. The good stuff starts on time.

  1. 6:00 PM Gates open Scan at the entrance, collect your wristband, and the food stalls are already running.
  2. 6:45 PM Aarti A short, proper aarti before anything else begins. Worth being there for.
  3. 7:00 PM Live dhol & mandli The mandli opens the floor with traditional raas. This is the part people remember.
  4. 8:15 PM DJ set Dakla, the season's tracks, and the dandiya block. Full floor, full volume.
  5. 9:00 PM Best dressed & face-off Judging for best chaniya choli and best kediyu, then the garba face-off.
  6. 10:00 PM Close We stop the music at 10 sharp, per the Bhopal district sound order. Valet brings the cars round.

If the district administration grants a Navratri extension, we'll run to 11 PM and announce it here first.

Questions

Before you book.

Anything not covered here, message us. Someone actually replies.

WhatsApp us
How does entry work at the gate?

After payment you get a pass with a QR code — on screen straight away, and on WhatsApp and email as backup. Show the QR at the gate, we scan it, you get a wristband and you're in.

If your phone dies or you can't find the message, every pass also carries a short code like DGM-7K4Q. Tell that to the gate staff, or just give the mobile number you booked with. We will find you.

What is the stag policy?

This is a couples-and-families floor, and most of the room is booked that way. We do sell a limited stag allocation — 60 passes a night, and once those are gone they are gone. Single men without a valid stag pass will not be admitted.

We keep the mix deliberate: female security on the floor, a separate family lane at the gate, and staff briefed to act on anything that makes a guest uncomfortable. That is what makes families comfortable here, and we enforce it.

What about kids?

Children under 10 enter free and don't need a pass. Above 10, they need a regular pass. The Family Pass admits four people of any age.

Is food included?

Your pass covers entry and the full programme. Food and drinks are from paid stalls on the lawn — chaat, Gujarati snacks, live counters and desserts. The VIP Table includes a welcome drink and a snack platter.

Can I get a refund?

Passes are non-refundable. They are, however, completely transferable — forward the pass to whoever is going instead and it will scan normally at the gate. Nothing needs changing on our side.

If the event is cancelled or moved by us, you get a full refund within seven working days.

What should I wear?

Traditional. Chaniya choli, kediyu, kurta — whatever you have. There are prizes for best dressed on both nights, judged at 9 PM, so it is worth the effort. Please avoid heels on the lawn.

Where do I park?

Inside the resort, with valet from 5:45 PM. Overflow parking is arranged nearby with a shuttle, and the route is signposted from Hoshangabad Road on both nights.

Why does it end at 10 PM?

Bhopal district has a standing order restricting loudspeakers and DJ systems after 10 PM. We would rather start earlier and run a proper evening than get shut down mid-garba. If an extension is granted for Navratri, we will run to 11 and announce it here.

My payment went through but I got no pass.

Don't book again. Message us on WhatsApp at +91 9039013819 with the reference number and your UPI transaction ID, and we'll issue the pass manually within an hour.
